Privacy

BeadSheet is a static website. There are no user accounts and no server that receives your photos.

What stays on your device

• Your photos and the bead pattern. Images are read with the browser Canvas API and matched to bead colors in JavaScript. They are never uploaded to a server operated by BeadSheet.
• Settings in localStorage (only in this browser; cleared if you clear site data):
  • beadsheet:owned:<brand> — the color codes you ticked under “My colors”.
  • beadsheet:xref — which optional Manman / Panpan / Mixiaowo cross-reference column you last chose (when using a MARD chart).
  • beadsheet:lang — a language preference used by the language switcher / banner so it does not keep prompting you.

Pattern settings in the page URL (brand, board size, dithering, and so on) are just query parameters in your address bar. Sharing a URL shares those settings, not your photo.

What we do not do

• No accounts, sign-in, or passwords.
• No first-party analytics, advertising, affiliate links, or trackers in the site’s own code.
• No cookie banner is shown because we do not set tracking cookies. The browser may still store the localStorage keys above and ordinary HTTP cache entries for our static files.

Scripts and fonts we load

• Pages load our own lang.js (language banner) and, on the pattern maker, app.js.
• PDF export lazily loads a local copy of jsPDF from /assets/vendor/.
• When a PDF needs Chinese characters (Chinese pages, or English pages with Manman / Panpan / Mixiaowo names), we lazily load a self-hosted Noto Sans SC subset from /assets/fonts/. No Google Fonts or other third-party font CDN is used.

Hosting (for example Cloudflare Pages) may keep ordinary web-server logs such as IP address and requested URL. That is outside this page’s control; we do not add our own logging of your photos.

Children

BeadSheet is a general craft tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
