A fox head on a small 21x21 grid: tall pointed ears with black tips and cream insides, bright orange fur, white cheeks that meet in a pointed chin, small black eyes and a black nose. A rust outline frames the whole face. The angled cheek lines give it a classic geometric look that is easy to read even from a distance. It is a good size for magnets, badges and keychains, and an arctic fox swap turns it into a winter animal.

Variations
Arctic fox
White winter fur with light grey ears and a grey outline; the black ear tips, eyes and nose stay.
Fox – Arctic fox – 21×21, 4 colors, 276 beads. Each symbol marks one bead; bold lines every 5 pegs.
The white cheeks are two diagonal triangles that meet below the eyes. Place the diagonal edge first and fill the rest afterwards.
The ears reach the top row of the grid. If you make it on a larger board, leave one row free above them for the outline.
For a badge, glue a pin back to the reverse side behind the forehead, where the piece is widest.
The cream inside the ears is close to white. If it disappears next to the white cheeks, use a light tan or peach for the inner ears instead.
Make a pair: one orange fox and one arctic fox facing each other look great as bookends or on a pencil case.
