Animal Perler Bead Patterns
Free, original animal perler bead patterns: a tabby cat face and a small sitting cat, a floppy-eared dog and a puppy, a fox head and an owl on a branch. Each pattern has a numbered grid, exact bead counts for Perler with the nearest Hama and Artkal colours, colour swaps to match real pets, and a button that opens it in the pattern maker.
All designs on this page are drawn bead by bead for BeadSheet; none of them copies an existing chart or a licensed character. The cat, dog and owl each fill one 29×29 square pegboard; the fox and the small cat and puppy are smaller and quicker. Pet patterns come with colour swaps (ginger, black, brown, white) so you can match them to your own animal. Bead counts include a +10% column so you know how many to set aside. The patterns are not yet test-fused: they are checked on screen, and the Hama and Artkal codes are automatic nearest-colour matches.

Tips for animal bead patterns
- Eyes first. Faces read through the eyes. Place the eye and pupil beads before the fur so they stay centred.
- Match your pet. Change only the fur and ear colours first; the eyes, nose and muzzle can usually stay the same.
- Outlines. A dark outline keeps light fur visible on a white board. On a black animal, use dark grey for the outline instead.
- Keychains and magnets. The small designs fit keyrings; glue a magnet behind the widest part of the larger faces.
