A round donut with golden butterscotch dough, pink icing with drips over the edge, and colourful sprinkles in yellow, blue, white and green. A light brown outline frames the dough and the hole in the middle. It fits on a 19x19 grid, so it is quick to make and the right size for a coaster or magnet. Swap the pink icing for chocolate or mint without changing anything else; the sprinkles work on every colour.

Variations
Chocolate icing
Brown chocolate icing; the sprinkles stand out even more on the darker colour.
Donut – Chocolate icing – 19×19, 7 colors, 279 beads. Each symbol marks one bead; bold lines every 5 pegs.
Place the sprinkles first; they are single beads and easy to lose count of once the icing is filled in.
The icing drips are one or two beads that hang into the dough area. They break up the ring, so keep them for a more realistic donut.
Leave the centre hole empty. Use it to hang the donut, or thread several donuts on a ribbon as a bakery garland.
Mix up the sprinkle colours with whatever you have left over; any bright single beads will do.
The dough shows only as a thin ring below the icing. If your butterscotch beads are close to the light brown outline, use a lighter tan for the dough.
