Christmas Perler Bead Patterns
Original, free Christmas perler bead patterns: a Christmas tree, a snowman, a gingerbread man and a gingerbread house, a reindeer, Santa Claus and his hat, a wreath, a stocking, presents, stars, snowflakes, baubles and a candy cane, plus a penguin and a polar bear for winter. Every pattern has a numbered grid, a bead list with Perler colour codes and the closest Hama and Artkal colours, and a one-click button that opens it in our pattern maker.
All designs on this page are drawn bead by bead for BeadSheet; none of them copies an existing chart or a licensed character. Most fit on a single 29×29 square pegboard, so they work with the standard boards that come in starter kits. The small ornaments, the Santa hat and the candy cane are quick wins for younger children, while the gingerbread house, the reindeer and the large snowflake take a bit more patience. Bead counts include a +10% column so you know how many to set aside. The patterns are not yet test-fused: they are checked on screen, and the Hama and Artkal codes are automatic nearest-colour matches.

The polar bear, the penguin, the snowman and the snowflakes have no Christmas symbols, so they also work as January and winter-classroom projects.
Planning a Christmas bead project
- Count beads first. Each pattern lists exact counts per colour; white, red and green run out first in December, so check those.
- Board size. A 29×29 board holds 841 beads. A 15×17 ornament and the 13×25 candy cane fit side by side on one board.
- Hanging. Leave a bead at the top for ribbon, or thread through the hole of an edge bead after ironing.
- Other brands. Hama and Artkal midi beads are the same 5 mm size as Perler, so the grids work unchanged; only the colour codes differ.
