A wrapped Christmas present with a red box, a slightly wider lid, a green ribbon running down the middle and a two-loop bow on top. A darker cranberry line under the lid gives the box a little depth, and a dark evergreen outline holds the whole shape together. At 19x19 it is small enough for ornaments, magnets and gift tags, and the solid blocks of colour make it an easy pattern for children. Swap the box and ribbon colours to match your own wrapping paper.

19 × 19 beads ≈ 9.5 × 9.5 cm (3.7 × 3.7 in) with 5 mm beads. It fits on one 29×29 square pegboard. For a bigger version, use the pattern maker on a 58×58 (2×2 boards) layout; the standard single board is covered on the 29×29 pattern maker page. Mini 2.6 mm beads make the same design roughly half the size.

Gift Box – Blue and silver – 19×19, 4 colors, 303 beads. Each symbol marks one bead; bold lines every 5 pegs.
Make a tag: leave the box plain and stick a small paper label on the back with the name of the person the gift is for.
Each bow loop has two darker green beads in its centre; keep them so the two loops do not merge into one green blob.
Make several boxes in different colour pairs and line them up under a bead Christmas tree for a festive scene.
The lid is one bead wider on each side than the box. Build that overhang first so the box stays centred under the bow.
