A classic striped candy cane, 13 beads wide and 25 tall, with a black outline and diagonal red and white stripes that follow the hook. It only uses three colours and fits easily on a small square board, which makes it one of the quickest Christmas projects here. Make several and hang them on the tree, glue a magnet on the back, or tie one to a present as a reusable gift tag.
Not yet test-fused. This is an original pattern designed on screen; it has not been ironed and photographed yet. Perler is the palette the pattern was drawn in. Hama and Artkal codes are automatic nearest-colour matches (CIEDE2000), not official conversions.

13 × 25 beads ≈ 6.5 × 12.5 cm (2.6 × 4.9 in) with 5 mm beads. It fits on one 29×29 square pegboard. For a bigger version, use the pattern maker on a 58×58 (2×2 boards) layout; the standard single board is covered on the 29×29 pattern maker page. Variations
Peppermint green
Green and white stripes, a softer mint look that pairs well with the red original.
Candy Cane – Peppermint green – 13×25, 3 colors, 155 beads. Each symbol marks one bead; bold lines every 5 pegs.
Place the black outline first, then fill the stripes two beads at a time following the diagonal.
The hook has a narrow inside corner. Check it before ironing, since that is where a missing bead is easiest to overlook.
If you want a softer look, swap the black outline for dark grey or leave it out entirely.
Ironing tip: the long straight stem cools faster than the hook. Iron the hook a few seconds longer, then press the whole cane flat under a book.
For a pair of canes that face each other, flip the finished piece over: the back is a mirror image, so you only need one pattern.
Several canes look good in a row as a garland. Make the stripes in alternating colours, for example red, green and blue, so the row reads as a set.
